I had heard that Sams club carries Root Beer here in Mexico, but I do not have a sams card, and I don't know anyone that does. However, at long last (six months to be exact), the dollar store down here had some Root Beer!!!! Oh, it was so good, soooooooo good! Nicolle and I made cheese burgers the other day, and I had a Root Beer with it. mmmmmmm

wow...you know you're desperate when you drink that Waldo Mart root beer. I remember enjoying it a few times. It's actually pretty awful stuff! You just don't remember what A&W or Barqs or Dad's tastes like. FWIW, I've never seen root beer in SAM's Clubs down here but maybe in Mexico City they have it. I've seen a chain called Alladinos ("Aladdin's") carry some A&W but usually it's vainilla or cherry flavor or something awful like that. I think I got a diet A&W a month or two ago...cost about .60 cents US. Not bad for an import. That was in Queretaro. They have a few branches in Mexico but I think they're all north of Mexico City (Guadalajara, San Luis Potosi, Saltillo and/or Monterrey...I think that's about it). Anyway...glad you found a taste of home. It's salve for the soul if not the stomach!
